Instead of a pre-ordered row birds, they are all in an "ammo nest" and you can select which one it is you want to use next. This adds an extra challenge to the game - select the right bird for the right moment in the attack.
Hmm... I'll have to see if Rovio.com has a 'suggestions' box; I might suggest that one to them!
