Description

Armstrong, his stone heads, and his sparkles vs. Lust and Gluttony. (from Fullmetal Alchemist)

Yup, I'm a fan of the strong and sparkling alchemist who is also an amazing artist (Aren't his sculptures and drawings impressive?!). Wartho came up with the idea of Gluttony wanting to eat Armstrong's sparkles, and I twisted it a bit.

This is a truly wonderful piece. The visual is perfectly clear, no blurred lines or smudges. Before reading the description their expressions tell a tale of battle and simple carnivorous hunger. A lovely scene.
This is a very original piece. I've come across a large variety of art like this, telling of a unique yet thrillingly simple battle, yet all others used screen caps or redraws. You, however, stayed true to your style and did this solely on your own. You didn't plagiarize or copy, you did this from the depths of your amazing imagination. Exceedingly unique.
Your technique is flawless. You kept the characters in question true to their nature. Alex Louis Armstrong, with his rippling muscles and strong yet playful demeanor. His alchemy was in the same texture as originally portrayed, and his humorous sparkles gave him the sense that he has no true intentions of harming another, like his portrayed character. Lust The Lascivious, with her curvaceous form and sinful elegance, was true to herself as well. Her flowing, midnight tresses twirling with her in the breeze of impact. Her stony, cold expression, that holds a sense of dark, cruel beauty. Her eyes hold a look of cool, calm amusement. Her captivating eloquence is alluring and deadly, all the same. Gluttony The Voracious, a rotund cannibal in his massacred mock innocence, is mindlessly contemplating wether to devour Armstrong's sparkles, hoping it will satisfy his ongoing hunger. He questions Lust with his simple, yet sinful thought, for he looks to the true embodiment of raw desire for guidance, for Gluttony is a cut down form of desire as well. Insanely perfect.
The impact has already been explained above. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/>
